SydneyPubGuide review : Chopper's Nuts
Great place for a few end-of-night beers. Can be quite gay sometimes, and other times its more straight. I wish it would make it's mind up. Used to have the ex manager from The Bentley, Gar, there. Totally mad, sound guy

On Durty Nelly's:
If you are from Ireland & Dublin avoid like the plague. Nothing Irish about this place at all, well except for lots of culchies!

Good food, but expensive. The pub is very open so you don't get a friendly "snug" atmosphere that I relate to irish pubs.
Recently bought by two english lads, I think, who don't want any irish pubs. I lived for three years around surry hills and rarely drank here. Go Shakespeare!

On Bar Cleveland:
Cool bar. This is one of the few pubs in Sydney I would spend a whole sat night in. Good looking women and open late. Upstairs has a kind of dance floor thing going on too..

This bar is wild. God knows who you will run into. The place is full of nuts, but that is the attraction. The staff are really rude - only acknowledged me after a few years of drinking there. Maybe that was because you had to be careful of who you looked at there.
The only pub in Aus where I ended up in a fight! Still great pool.
Friday nights are good fun. If you go on saturday make it around three a.m. its quite in there earlier.

For a quart of Ale is a dish for a King.
