| Will going be going to the Palisade on the long weekend. Looking forward to those great views from the roof, the cold beer and the good conversation with the bar staff. Best pub in Sydney except for the Hero of Waterloo. |

DART Board!!!! a few pool tables and i must say the staff are really great plus there's non of this $4.50 for a schooner crap |

| Well....looks like the owners are almost certainly writing the book "How To Ruin A Pub For Dummies" and following their book to the letter , used to be a great pub now its just a place to pop into for the badge draw and thats it....Most of the other pubs in the area have spent serious cash on upgrading..all that seemed to have been spent here on upgrading is the occasional new beer coasters...do yourself a massive favour and avoid it..everyone else that used to go here is doing the same thing. |

| A bit quite, but still much nicer than a few other local hotels. Day staff are nicer, as night staff lack customer service skills. Greg is the main man there. The friendliest barman in town..........Just don't eat the food. |

| More an eaters pub than a drinkers pub. Great place to take some out-of-towners though. Especially people from overseas as it serves unique dishes like emu and kangaroos pizzas. Book ahead. |

| Great location although the DJs there can be a bit self indulgent and make it impossible to hear others, including the bar staff. The Opera House Bar and the ECQ on the other side of the quay have just as good views and you can talk to others there. |

| Great pub, great location but sadly the land lord is arrogant and the pub is all about sport. Food is good though.
Dont' go on a Mon, Tues or Wedn because if its not busy the land lord closes early. I have been on a Wednesday night and there we 20 people drinking, went to get another drink and was told the pub was shutting early 9pm, not enough punters.
its a joke, he is quick to take your money on a busy night but quick to shut early if its not creaming in the cash, whatever happened to service to the locals? |

| Oh my god has this pub changed!! Used to be VERY comfortable now its run by Drunken New Zealand bikers with tatooed faces who beat up patrons they see as "poofs". I was there last week and was shocked to see what has happened to this once great pub. STEER CLEAR OF THIS PUB! |
