Not really worthy of a big review, downstairs at Sweeney's is basically a small corner pub with TAB and pokies, which thrives purely on the hardened drinking and gambling crowd. We've been there a few times, but basically it's as a wind-down after spending too much at nearby Venue Music (three members of the team play guitars of some persuasion). The crowd can be a bit surly, and most are regulars. The beer is cheap, there's a 'bistro' attached, but we wouldn't go out of our way for a visit.
Upstairs has a cocktail bar and apparently a cybercafe, a review is scheduled for later.
