The Olympic has been fully renovated since this review was written. It is included here for completeness.

The Olympic. One of those contradictory pubs. Out front, the bar is open, wood floored, shrouded in sporting memorabilia and definitely with a 'bloke' feel. However attached is a rather sleek looking restaurant. Mostly quiet, the place explodes when there's a game on at the nearby football stadium.

The pokie room at the back looks like it was knocked together from plasterboards by a blind builder - it all looks a bit half-finished really. In general, the appearance can be described as 'tatty', though this is set to improve.

It definitely warrants further investigation by the SPG.net team.
