Having to miss out the Lansdowne because it was just far too packed, we ended up wandering past Off Broadway, almost literally. It's just a little too much like an RSL for our tastes, and was dead quiet.
The three pool tables seem to form a focal point for the room, and on our visit were the only part of the bar where anything was actually happening. Mostly youngsters crowded around the tables.
The soundtack is most definitely R&B, which jangled my nerves just a little too much, and they obviously have or had a problem with underage kids trying to get served alcohol - a group of kids coming in after us were intercepted and asked for identification almost before they got in. It seems the target market is young, but is having to be policed for being TOO young.
Karaoke, a club night - it's a young slave-to-fashion scene. The TAB looked positively out of place!
