Deano from ErskinevilleGreat un-threatening local.. Recently under new management this place has been hugely renovated and hosts a great giant screen for sports nuts.. Theme nights include trivia, raffles, pool comp, live bands, giveaways (scored a jug or two over the past couple of weeks), and the clean friendly atmosphere always makes you feel welcome. Usual facilities incl. bistro, bottle shop, pokies, TAB, ATM, and good value drinks.21 Nov 2003
Mike from NewtownAllegedly has been done up recently. They got rid of the old bloke dressed by St. Vinnies with the sausages and brought in a decent chef. If this means a stop to the regular-as-a-senna-pod brawling, then I fear for the future of this pub. 23 May 2003
