they got rid of the pokies? Weren't they always downstairs next to the dunny? (best place for the evil things) used to love the free pool on Sunday arvos when I live nearby, and across the road from that wonderful thai! always the first stop on a big night out followed by the 3weeds until all hours (before they made it swanky and invited all the paddo kiddies in) for some more beer, some pool and turkish bread with dips :)

Some might prefer the Darlo Bar up the road - not me. You won't find no pokies at the Green Park. And we don't need any gimicky furniture from the set of Lost In Space. The most down to earth crowd in Sydney.

Can't say enough good things about the Green Park. It's one of those places where you can wear anything and feel right at home. No attitude, no hang-ups, no pretence...just a schooner of New and maybe a game of pool out the back.

Love Green Park - always great atmosphere and minus a bunch of silly eastern suburbs chicks that have done ellocution lessons at private school. Older crowd that knows how to get down on a Saturday night.
