On our review visit, the place was dead. Well, it was Sunday, but just up the way the Strawberry Hills Hotel is packed to the rafters with folks watching the Sunday Jazz. The Evening Star is a nice little place, and quite a lot has been spent on it to ake it into a slick little vanue, with TV screens, sofas and brushed metal furnishings laid out in a pleasing way.
