The Ettamaggah bar is now Docks
Sitting on the harbourside just near the Pyrmont Bridge, The Ettamogah is a tourist haven decked out in full-size 'Ettamogah Mob' cartoon characters.
It's essentially a long, white, well air-conditioned hall with a view and a couple of bars. The beer is cold, but the place feels a bit too impersonal to be a real stand-out venue. Good for a change, maybe, but there are better places around Darling Harbour (
Pyrmont Bridge,
Cargo Bar).
The only other thing really is to mention that the staff were very friendly, and the place is kept very clean - non-smokers would feel happy here - and look out for the plane crash behind the bar!
