PubGoer from BalmainThree pubs in close proximity, all catering for different. The Imperial for the gay community, The Rose of Australia for those who like stylish pubs, and the Erko - for the others. Oldschool pub, personally I found the place rather dingy, and the staff fairly ordinary, but may have got it on a bad day (or several bad days as I dropped in a few times). Prefer the Rose, but I guess it is OK if you are after cheaper beers and a few games of stick.30 Dec 2004
Amanda D from ErkoCheapest place to have a good time. Great food, staff and old pub atmosphere.
