It's very appealing, this little pub. The sandstone building is small, almost too small, with a little courtyard out back. Sussex Street doesn't get tons of traffic, so you feel like you're out of the way, and in the summer you often get a very nice breeze through the entire pub.
The bar itself is small, but the staff are good. It has a slight old-english feel to it. We like to head for the courtyard if we can, taking our beer with us. There's even occassional live music in the courtyard during summer.
