Not really a pub, but The Comedy Store qualifies for a listing by being a
superb place to go and have a few drinks. The fact that you have to pay to get in mitigatesd against it's inclusion, but we felt we just had to put it in.
Just off the main thoroughfare of Bent Street in Fox Studios, the comedy store is one of the more famous venues in Australia today, being closely linked to the Comedy Channel. As you climb the stairs to the main level, the wall above you sports a large Commedy Channel logo.
The pre-comedy bar serves a pretty good selection, though the prices are premium-level - though the best part for us was table service once the show was underway. You can laugh till your sides split, and you still don't have to get up for a drink. cool.
