We went through a period of ending up here at the end of the night. Probably not the best way, sicne it meant we never really ventured past the ground-floor bar, but there you go.
I have to say I'm not overly fond of the place - the bar seating, while distinctive and unusual isn't at all comfortable, and the large picture window at the front leaves you open to the street, which I'm not always too happy about. The Island Bar format usually lends itself to a good little pub, but this one seems a little ill-suited. The bar is off-center, creating a crush on the right-hand (uphill) side, which Ididn't find too comfortable, to be honest.
We've heard tell that it's overly pricey, though we didn't notice this too much, and the food deals are pretty cheap, last time we checked there was a pasta deal - but overall until we get to try out the other bars in the building we can't give it a high rating. sorry.
