It took a fair old while to get to the Bridgeview, since it's been a little out of the way for most of the pubguide team, but with Viv's return to the scene, we've made it back a couple of times.
The Bridsgeview is a big, rangy local on Willoughby Road with all the usual accoutrements, food, sports bar, trivia, pokies, the whole bit. It'sa also been upgraded to feature a whole load of plasma screens, allowing you to lounge on a leather sofa and watch sport with a beer in surroundings which really do lend themselves to a salubrious few beers.
Viv tells us that Anzac Day here is pretty legendary, so it's on our shortlist for 2006, and has become a steadfast option for late evening beers when in Crow's Nest, St Leaonards, Artarmon or all points nearby.
Cheers!
