So here we are again. It's the middle of the night and I'm starting to realise I maybe ought to go home soon. Somehow I've been talked into getting another on the way home, so we end up at Bar Broadway.
Architecturally it's plain. Wood floors, pretty plain rectangular layout, bar at one end of the room, tables along the large windows facing broadway itself, and reasonably busy for a night when those of us who work weekdays should be tucked up in bed. My head's gonna hurt tomorrow, but what the hell. It's noisy and full of young people having a good time.
Somehow whenever I end up here I go away with the night blocked out by an overwhelming memory of orange lights. Maybe that's the hangovers talking. Oh well, back to the bar for another. It's going to be a long night.
