Opposite the Bondi Hotel, this place is pretty comprehensively overlooked by most of the Bondi pub crowd. We're not really surprised - there's not much going for it, really, aside from the fact that you can play pool in peace.
Yes, occassional live bands add to it, but really there's so little to build on. Walking in the front door, the ceilings are so low that the taller mebers of our group almost had to duck. On our visit it was quiet, despite being the end of the week, and only two or three pokie players and three pool players were in attendance.
Towards the back right, you descend some steps towards the pool area - at least here you don't fell like you're going to hit your heada at any second. The pool tables are surrounded by a glass wall which makes you feel a little like an aquarium fish, so not as comfortable as it should be.
I'd rate it about 2 out of 10, and that's only for the pool tables.
