There's a bit of everything at Fox, if you're a pub-goer. There's the sporting laddishness of Sports Central, the occasionally loud Fox and Lion, the more calm theme bar environs of the Dog Gone, and then there's Arena. Arena is the place you go when you want to sit with a cocktail and not move all day. Table service means you don't have to, and with the Long Island Iced Teas they mix here, you won't want to! Our last visit was extremely pleasant - we got a seat right at the large windows for a pleasant cooling breeze, ordered our drinks, zipped over to the bookshop for some reading material and settled in. We even got to gawk at celebrities while trying to maintain a certain standard of 'coolness'. Arena has a restaurant menu which is about the most pricey of the pub/bars here (are you surprised?) and has space upstairs too. We recommend market day - purchase, then retreat.
